Pauline designed this camel toy pattern for a craft magazine’s Christmas in July issue back in 2009. Chrissy’s has button-jointed legs which makes her a more advanced pattern. I don’t recommend her for beginners but the added bonus is that you can add some bright funky coloured Christmas buttons for decoration

RECOMMENDED FABRICS:

Chrissy is made from quilting fabrics, and is best suited to cottons or non-stretch fabrics eg. cotton drill, cottons, corduroy.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:

• Main fabric - 10 x 43inch wide / 25 x 110cm wide.
• Contrast fabric - 12  x 11inch wide / 30  x 27 cm wide.
• 4 Buttons - 1 inch (25mm) for button-jointing legs.*
• 5mm black beads (or craft eyes)
• Strong thread for sewing on eyes (if using beads).
• Black embroidery thread for nose & mouth - 20 inch(50cm)
• Coloured embroidery thread for tail - 40 inch(100cm)
