Calico the SIGNATURE Bear PATTERN Finished Size: SITTING 30cm/12" (STANDING 40cm/16")   It took me a while to make the Funky Friends Factory signature bear with a cute smiley face but I think he's turned out rather sweet! This teddy bear sewing pattern is button-jointed. Signature bears are a fun way to record an event or celebration, special occasion - new baby, christenings, weddings, parties, 21st birthdays and, of course, graduations.  A unique, homemade personalised bear will be a treasured keepsake for years to come.

RECOMMENDED FABRICS:

I used calico fabric (muslin) but Calico Bear doesn't have to be a signature bear. LOTS of people use this teddy bear sewing pattern to sew lovely keepsakes using baby clothes or make memory bears as bereavement bears to remember loved ones.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:

• Main Fabric - 45cm x 110cm wide / 18x44 inches wide.
• Contrast Fabric - 25cm x 20cm wide / 10x8 inches wide.
• 4 large buttons for arms & leg joints - about 2½ cm/1 inch.
• Eyes - 2 small buttons - about 12mm/ ½inch for eyes (or craft eyes)
• Scrap of felt (or embroidery thread) for nose.
• Ribbon for around neck - 50cm/20 inches.Main fabric - 35cm x 110cm wide (14inches x 43inches wide)
