Seagulls remind me of all the yummy things you eat on a beach holiday like fairy floss and ice-cream so I decided to make him out of fabric covered in ice-creams, cakes and donuts. I think of seagulls with yellow legs but I looked in a bird book and MOST of the ones in Australia have red legs! I wonder what colour legs you will make for Sandy?

Patch has lots of pieces so this is NOT a good pattern for beginners but she is great for combining and showing off a range of gorgeous fabrics!
