 ☐ Copying the pattern onto tracing paper
 ☐ Preparing and fitting a toile
 ☐ Setting up the sewing machine and choosing the correct feet
 ☐ Selecting stitch length and tacking the garment together
 ☐ Adjusting the fit and resewing neatly
 ☐ Binding edges and finishing seams
 ☐ Pockets: side, patch, inserted and bagged-out pockets
 ☐ Cuffs, hoods, linings and plackets
 ☐ Open-ended zips and alternative fastenings
 ☐ Paper piecing discussion
